Lifting Tackle Inspectors - 2 Day Course

This course has been specifically designed for delegates with the responsibility for issuing, storing, inspecting, condemning or the purchasing of lifting tackle.

The course objective is to provide the delegate with full training for tackle inspection by means of the following:

• Responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and supporting legislation
• Approved codes of practice applied to lifting tackle inspection
• Good practice for storage and handling of lifting tackle
• Methods used to inspect lifting tackle
• The rejection criteria for lifting tackle inspection
• Selection of lifting tackle, and uniform load method
• Certification and records of inspection
