Emerson Crane Hire is a totally independent Company first formed by Edward Clancy in 1991 but very much Family run with immediate Family making up Directors and Company Secretary. Emerson is now a name recognised by clients who require leading lifting specialists to plan and carry out their lifting operations be that Crane Hire or Contract Lift.

To update our fleet so as to ensure modern technology and reliability is pursued at all times. To ensure a friendly service that is safety conscious with the correct equipment for every project.

We can carry out site assessments through our highly trained Technical Representatives who can provide risk assessments, method statements and CAD drawings for all projects. Remaining a Family run Company with extensive knowledge of the industry and expertise we are still able to give that personal touch. In order to achieve satisfaction Emerson’s carry out all aspects of its business procedures and working practices to meet the requirements of ISO 9002 along with other industry related accreditations. We are currently accredited with BSI, Link Up, UVDB, CHAS, Construction Line and Safe Contractor, continuously striving for improved working practices. We are members of RoSPA, FTA (Freight Transport Association) and CPA (Construction Plant Hire Association). All lifting operations are planned and managed in accordance with LOLER and BS7121.
